Dental Assistant

Join a team of professionals to help protect, restore and maintain a patient’s oral health.

Dental Assistant

Dental assistants provide quality preventative and corrective dental care under direct supervision of the dentist or dental hygienist. The dental assistant is responsible for assisting dentists and dental hygienists with patient care as well as providing certain administrative support to the office. Ongoing research linking oral health and general health will likely continue to increase the demand for preventive dental services and dental professionals.

In our non-credit, short-term training dental assistant program, you will:

  • Train with industry professionals to learn best practices in the field
  • Gain the professional skills needed to function as an assistant in a dental practice
  • Prepare to become a dental assistant within one semester
